"Just so you know," and here Scatter pauses for dramatic effect. "Scatter is perfectly able to post in the first-person. Scatter just finds it very refreshing to think of herself in a third-person kind of way. Scatter hopes you won't mind?" Scatter says apologetically.
"Scatter found her way here from Google. Scatter is a tad embarrassed to admit that she has a tendency to use Google for all of life's difficult questions. Such as how to tie a Gordian Knot."
"Scatter used to roleplay over at Gaia Online's forums, back when she was a scrawny little thing. She went off on a quick jaunt through real life, and returned to find that Gaia wasn't the same any more." Scatter sighs and stares off into the distance. "Scatter found herself yearning to roleplay again, so she decided to give this site a look-see."
At this juncture, Scatter looks back at you and smiles enthusiastically. "Scatter knows she's still new here, but she's also very excited to see how this forum has been beautifully tailored for roleplays. Scatter doesn't like to jump into things too quickly, so she'll probably be lurking around a bit more. But she is most definitely looking forward to jumping into the fray soon enough!"
Scatter attempts to wave goodbye for now with her right hand, but is perplexed that she isn't able to do so. Scatter looks down at your hand that she is still grasping in a death grip. "Oh! Scatter is sorry. Scatter didn't mean to break all the bones in your right hand. Just so you know, Scatter is also very scatter-brained. You'll forgive her, won't you?" Without waiting for an answer, Scatter salutes you with her left hand and walks off, unintentionally dragging you with her into the awfully-clich?d sunset...
