ZURICH (AP) -Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola confirms he will return to football next season, but won't speculate where he might go.
Guardiola says "I have taken a decision to coach but beyond that there is no decision."
Guardiola pledged last May to take a one-year break from coaching, and moved his family to live in Manhattan.
Still, he was linked to vacancies with the Brazil national team and Chelsea, and several top European clubs are believed to want him.
Speaking ahead of the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich, Guardiola says coaching is "what I like to do."
Guardiola says it would show a "lack of respect" to answer a question about joining Bayern Munich.
Guardiola is among three candidates for the world's best coach of 2012. He won it last year.
