Travel and Leisure magazine has ranked the dirtiest cities in the United States. Glad we live in this city! Charlotte is awesome and very clean.

1. New York City
Litter, as well as loud and rude people.

2. New Orleans
Litter and debris, especially following Mardi Gras

3. Baltimore
Burgeoning population of rats.

4. Los Angeles
Excessive smog and air pollution.

5. Atlanta
Excessive litter, especially cigarette butts.

6. Philadelphia
Excessive litter. But the city is trying to clean up! Last year, Philly was number two on this list.

7. Dallas-Fort Worth
Lack of green space and public parks.

8. Miami
Extremely polluted soil, as well as a feeling of chaos and loud noise.

9. Memphis
Purposely sloppy barbecue and unrestrained music scene.

10. Houston
Worst ozones in the nation, according to the American Lung Association
